UVW Mapping Made Easy 102:  Multi-Sub Object Mappings  - Part 3




So now it needs you to navigate to where the bitmap is that you will use.

For simplicity I often have the model  - and the bitmap in the same folder - but you dont have to do it that way.



Once you choose ok youll come to this screen.

IMPORTANT: Make sure to click the small checkbox icon as highlighted. Otherwise your skin wont show up in the program - and it wont show up in game either.

Make sure to also verify your bitmap name shows now nex to the diffuse color selection  if so go ahead and slect the "Go to Parent" up arrow twice so we can do our next material.





Ok - time to do it all over again for the next ID - #2 in this case.  If you need instructions  again you can back up one page and follow the same instructions for ID 2.




Ok were almost done here - you should notice the preview sphere's have changed - they will show multiple check patters - showing whatever textures you have set so far as you proceed.  This is a sign  youve done it right.




Now that we have this fancy new material - apply it to your object.

Obviously your object must be selected to apply it.
